We're looking for an Associate Consultant to join our Facilities Management team. Recruitment experience isn't essential. We're looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset, whether you come from sales, fundraising or perhaps already work within Facilities Management and want a career with greater earning and progression opportunities. You'll be joining an established, busy desk and working closely with one of Cobalt's top-performing consultants, with structured training and development to help you build your market knowledge, recruitment skills and confidence as you progress towards a full 360 role. The role:

  • Build and manage relationships with candidates across the Facilities Management market
  • Work on live roles and established client accounts from the outset
  • Develop a thorough understanding of your specialist market
  • Generate NFI through candidate management
  • Build your commercial and business development skills as you progress About you:
  • Some experience in sales, fundraising, Facilities Management or another commercial environment
  • Resilient and comfortable with rejection
  • Confident picking up the phone, but able to build relationships rather than simply sell
  • Curious and willing to ask the right questions
  • A natural problem-solver with plenty of initiative
  • Ambitious and eager to learn and progress Development is a big part of the role. You'll have hands-on support from the team, internal training and clear progression milestones as you move from candidate management into wider client and 360 responsibility. There's a proven path on the desk too: both existing consultants joined Cobalt through this route and have gone on to become consistent top performers, with both qualifying for our High Achievers trip this year.
