Junior Data Analyst

This is a permanent role based in Northampton. As the Junior Data Analyst you will play a key role in helping the organisation improve business decision-making, operational efficiency, and reporting capability by transforming raw data into meaningful, actionable insight. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs across the business
• Assist with transforming raw data into clear and meaningful business insight
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business needs
• Support ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests
• Help maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across reporting environments
• Support data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes
• Assist with documentation of data structures, reporting logic, and analytical processes
• Support development and maintenance of data models and reporting pipelines
• Work with modern BI and reporting tools including Power BI and Oracle Analytics Cloud Assist with automation of recurring reports and workflows
• Collaborate with the wider Data Engineering team on continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For:
• Experience working within a Data Analyst or reporting-focused role
• Strong understanding of how data supports business decision making
• Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Business Objects, or Oracle Analytics Cloud - Good analytical and problem-solving capability
• Comfortable working with stakeholders across different business functions
• Good organisational and documentation skills
• Ability to work with large data sets and identify trends or anomalies
