DevOps Specialist

Referment is working with a London-based technology company that builds data transparency and accountability tools for the investment management industry. Its platform aggregates and validates cost and holdings data from across the investment supply chain, serving pension funds, asset managers and other service providers. The DevOps team sits with the core application team and runs the multi-tenant cluster that serves both production customers and in-office developers. The Role You'll join a cross-disciplinary team responsible for a robust multi-tenant cluster, participating in the daily scrum and weekly releases. The team's automation covers the whole stack, from OS installation through UI and regression testing to production deployment, and you'll help extend it further. You'll work on new capabilities including continuous deployment, data-centre affinity and workload management, and contribute to improvements in build, performance, security, operating systems, networking and monitoring. The team breaks long-term projects into small deliveries to achieve rapid change, and expects you to be an expert in at least one of these disciplines and able to bring others along. • Strong grounding in Linux systems administration and automation
• Expertise in at least one area such as build, performance, security, networking, storage or monitoring
• A track record of improving continuous integration and provisioning at scale
• Belief in breaking long-term projects into small, frequent deliveries
• Willingness to share knowledge with peers inside and outside the team Technologies
