IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer | Swindon I'm currently recruiting for an IT Support Engineer to join a well-established global organisation on an initial 12-month contract, supporting a busy operational site in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, taking ownership of issues, and acting as the face of IT on-site. You'll be part of a small local IT team providing support across office, production and laboratory environments, whilst working closely with remote infrastructure and service desk teams. Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users
• Build, deploy and support laptops and end-user devices
• Support Microsoft Autopilot provisioning and device lifecycle activities
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and peripheral issues
• Support meeting room and collaboration technologies
• Manage incidents, requests and changes through ServiceNow
• Provide smart hands support for remote infrastructure, network and server teams
• Maintain IT asset records and support asset lifecycle management
• Deliver excellent customer service across a diverse user base Skills & Experience Required
• Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support, Site Support or End User Computing role
• Strong understanding of ITIL-based support environments
• Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
• Asset Management and Change Management experience
• Windows environment support experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through to resolution Nice to Have
• Microsoft Autopilot experience
• Intune experience
• Manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical or operational site support experience
• Experience working within a 24/7 environment
