DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for a start-up/scale-up client within the AI space. This is a product-focused engineering environment where ownership, collaboration and communication are valued just as highly as technical ability. Responsibilities

• Improving platform resilience and reliability
• Identifying infrastructure bottlenecks and scaling opportunities
• Managing and enhancing AWS infrastructure
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Implementing monitoring, logging and observability solutions
• Managing backups, disaster recovery and database performance
• Driving security best practices across the platform
• Automating operational processes and reducing manual effort
• Supporting new AI initiatives with production-ready infrastructure
• Contributing to future compliance and governance initiatives Details Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum Location: UK Remote Employment type: Permanent Requirements
• Terraform experience within production environments
• Strong AWS knowledge and hands-on cloud infrastructure experience
• Cloud security fundamentals including IAM, encryption and least-privilege access
• Observability experience (monitoring, logging and alerting)
• CI/CD pipeline ownership and automation
• Containerisation experience (Docker, ECS, EKS or similar)
• PostgreSQL administration, backups and performance management
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python and/or TypeScript
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
